What you can book
Main studio floor
The main room measures 32 by 38 feet. Ceiling height is 14 feet. A 12x12 foot cyc wall sits in the northeast corner. The floor is polished concrete, suitable for standing sets and equipment carts. Two 20-amp circuits run along each wall.
Blackout curtains cover the north-facing windows. When closed, the room reaches 0.2 lux. When open, you get soft, even daylight from 10:00 to 15:00. We do not supply cameras, lenses, or lighting units. Bring your own gear or arrange a rental from a third party.
Grip and support equipment
Included in every booking: six C-stands, four sandbags, two 4x4 foot flags, one 6x6 foot silk, and a 10-foot ladder. Also on site: a rolling equipment cart, two apple boxes, and a 25-foot extension cord with three outlets.
We do not rent out individual grip items without a studio booking. If you need a specific piece of gear — a Dana dolly, a jib, or a set of Matthews stands — contact us at least 48 hours ahead. We can tell you what we have and what we do not.
Half-day and full-day blocks
A half-day runs five consecutive hours. A full day runs ten consecutive hours. Both include access to the kitchenette, two washrooms, and a small changing room with a mirror and clothing rack. The kitchenette has a fridge, a microwave, and a kettle.
We do not provide catering, craft services, or on-site meals. The nearest café is 180 metres west at 1855 W 1st Ave. A Save-On-Foods sits three blocks away at 2300 W 4th Ave. You can bring your own food and drinks.
What we do not do
Serafina-Mogavero does not operate as a production company. We do not supply photographers, videographers, directors, or editors. We do not handle casting, wardrobe, hair, or makeup. We do not provide post-production, colour grading, or sound mixing.
If you need those services, we can suggest a list of independent Vancouver professionals. That list is not a referral network and we take no fee. We simply pass along names of people who have rented our space before. For legal, insurance, or permit questions, contact the City of Vancouver or a licensed professional.
Rates
Rates below are for the main studio floor. All amounts are in Canadian dollars. No tax is added at checkout — you pay the amount shown. We do not take deposits online.

The two-hour minimum applies to all bookings. Weekend rates are the same as weekday rates. We do not charge extra for evening hours between 10:00 and 20:00.
